Avaya integrates our communications solutions with Microsoft desktop and business applications to provide the technology alignment and interoperability required to deliver unified communications.

Leveraging SIP (the open industry standard for VoIP), instant messaging, and presence, Avaya solutions for Microsoft environments expose a user’s status on the network and provide reliable communication channels. Avaya integrates with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, Microsoft Office Communications Server and Office Communicator, Microsoft Office applications, Active Directory, and SharePoint. We also integrate Avaya IP telephony capabilities with Microsoft Office Communicator and the Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2.
